The magnitude can be the same.
Sometimes I think what I'd like best is someone who smiles and laughs a lot and likes to cuddle, and 6 seems like a brilliant age. They tell the best stories!
Other days I want to hear the drama and moodiness and both ends of the spectrum of confidence ("fuck yeah I rule the world!" vs. "fuck, I'm a waste of oxygen") and 13 year olds are where it's at. They can inspire me with their energy and charisma, or I can do something to make them feel validated/needed/loved again, and that pays back huge dividends.
Other days I just need someone who's like a mom (such as my mom), and ~40 is a great age.
