While it's true that there is a Middle Eastern city called Markaba, I actually got the nick from the title of a Tool song . . . with one letter changed️ ↗. That was accidental, but I just went with it. In retrospect I'm glad I made the mistake, because I often get called Marky, which is a damn sight better than Merky. ;-)
