You're still asking us to accept an argument for women that you are not being willing to argue for children. That's my real point, not whether or not or to what degree women in Muslim countries are oppressed.


We are speaking of cultures where the subjugation and abuse of children is common and where children have nowhere near the same status and rights as adults.

Or are we not?

Calling you a "cultural imperialist" does not take away from the fact that the culture in much of the...oh well, world does contribute to a situation where the institutionalized abuse of children can be objectively observed to be higher than in the Pedotopia I'd rather live in.
