Stop with the 'two wrongs make a right' arguments

You're still asking us to accept an argument for women that you are not being willing to argue for children. That's my real point, not whether or not or to what degree women in Muslim countries are oppressed.

No, I'm not going to let you get away with that this time. First off, this is a straw man. I am willing to extend the rights to children that I would like to see extended to women in the Middle East . . . providing said children can demonstrate they are ready for them. Secondly, I am not an absolutist like you--I recognize that there some fundamental difference between adults and children which affect the issues regarding their freedoms, so I don't believe in the 'one size fits all' theory of rights. Thirdly, and I can't stress this enough, STICK TO THE FUCKING ISSUE AT HAND. This post is as far as I'm going to indulge your infuriating habit of dodging of the issue at hand.
