No one here claimed that other cultures didn't have abuse of females

Then you might have been hacked because this was posted under your name:

the culture in much of the Middle East does contribute to a situation where the institutionalized abuse of women and girls can be objectively observed to be higher than in the West.

By the way, my point that culturalist explanations are too simplistic cuts both ways. It attacks your points, but it also attacks Lyrics' points, which in the end are also culturalist, and simply view positive what you view negative. Of course, I am not saying that materialistic explanations alone explain everything; that too is too simplistic. Marx and Huntington can be both wrong at the same time, even if a combined heresy could be closer to the truth than either orthodoxy.

Oh, and never mind that sub-Saharan Africa, in any quantifiable measure, treats its girls and women worse than the Middle East. After all, they're just n**, almost monkeys, so who cares for their females? They don't even have terrorists to make us care. But of course, this is a red herring. It doesn't matter anything that happens outside the Middle East, not even because precisely the Middle Eastern focus is what makes "child advocacy" hypocritical. Never mind that children are used as drug mules right in the US border, no, the only thing that matters is if a Moosleem prepub in a Middle Eastern hill is marrying a guy three times her age, and everything else is a fallacy, not a proof that they care more about sex than about actual abuse.
