According to Wikipedia, it means BOTH, in fact. The attraction to adults is not restricted by age, meaning it's an attraction to adults and the label applies regardless of the age of the person who has the attraction.

And I'm not trying to "destroy" anything; don't be so bloody sensitive. I'm trying to find out why we're looking for a new term when one already exists and has been used by this community frequently in the past.
