Dissy, people hate and fear us because they think we want to rape their kids. They don't care whether we're assholes or polite people. They don't CARE, Dissident. THEY. DON'T. CARE. You're doing your very best to meet a standard that they've never set.

Dude, once again, you are operating under the assumption that all Nons are full blown antis, and never question the prevailing media stereotype of us. Such people are virtually silent at present (for good reason), but that doesn't mean they are non-existent. You also speak to me as if I am in the closet in real life, or never sat in a professional setting amongst Nons who were well aware I was an MAA. I have many friends with kids who allow me to be around their children, and who trust me. Why? Because they know, based on my actions and everyday public behavior, that I am not a sleazebag or the type of person who would rape anyone, let alone kids. They would likely and understandably think otherwise if I made frequent comments and jokes in front of them that were graphic sexual riffs on underage girls. It's just not true that our public behavior doesn't matter, and doesn't change hearts and minds, at least potentially.

And, again, my issue is NOT with how you choose to act. My issue is over the fact that you choose to belittle and berate others for how THEY choose to act. It is not your fucking place to tell Gatekeeper or anybody else how they should goddamn FEEL toward the fucking breeders! He's entitled to his bitterness and his anger. ENTITLED! He fucking DESERVES those feelings and he's earned the right to them by living his life with society's boot on his fucking face. HOW DARE YOU tell him differently!

I vehemently disagree, because I think other members of his community are exactly the people to call him on it when he acts like the very thing he hates when it's directed at him. I never told him that he isn't entitled to feel anger and bitterness at the way we are treated, because I'm in the same boat he is, and I feel these things too. But I am seeking justice, not war or vengeance, and I adamantly believe that wallowing in anger and bitterness, and trying to oppose hatred with hatred, is not only self-destructive, but it's very harmful to this community, and it proves we are no better than the people who oppress us. If we feel we have a right to be treated as human beings, yet refuse to take the moral high ground and act like human beings, then we are doing nothing save validating the hatred of our oppressors in their eyes. If we develop an ideology that hatred is justified and righteous, then we are simply being pro-war, not pro-justice. If those of us who feel hatred an
d perpetual war is wrong refuse to censure our own community members when we see such attitudes, then it strongly implies we all approve of that kind of behavior.

You keep acting like I'm teling you not to stop being nice and polite to the Nons. That's never what I've said to you, not once, so I'd appreciate it if you'd stop trying to fight about shit I never said nor implied. My ONLY ISSUE HERE is with you having the fucking nerve to DARE tell Gatekeeper he shouldn't be an asshole. He has every right to do so and you are NOBODY to tell him differently!

Yes, I am somebody to tell him how much I don't appreciate it when he acts like an asshole and undermines the efforts of those of us who actually care what type of people we are, and how we come off to others in public, as is Joey Bishop and anyone else who feels this way: We are fellow members of his community, and it is precisely us who should be telling him that we feel that while anger is justified, hatred never is.

Our enemies are NOT the Nons; our enemies are the intangible attitudes of hatred, ignorance, and intolerance, and I will oppose them wherever I see them, because I know that nothing but bad things can result from them no matter who is espousing them, or under what justification (i.e., rationalization). If I denounced them when the Nons directed such attitudes towards us, but supported them when we do the same in return, then I would be a hypocrite.
