Indeed.

They consider children as the equivalent of some museum piece which is very valuable, but should never be touched, and only be seen from behind glasses and alarms. They idealize them into something they are not and never were.

We like children because they are children; and because we realize that, beautiful as they are, they are not museum pieces, but real living beings with hearts, souls and minds.
