I don't think that murder is justified retaliation for child rape in a lawful society. If this man found out that the deceased had assaulted his daughter and he then committed a premeditated murder against him, that would be one thing. However, when he catches the perpetrator red handed in the heat of the moment, things happen.

I've seen the dad described as remorseful and that he didn't know the man would die from the beating he gave him. I would be the same way if I were in that situation. I don't think the dad is a cold blooded killer. I think he's a normal man who was placed in a situation that no man should ever have to be in and see.
