That he didn't actually produce these images himself, but that he merely distributed them for profit. More of an opportunist trying to make a buck than anything else. When you do that, you take your chances, for better or worse. I won't be hanging around the jailhouse with a length of rope in hand, but I don't care to defend him either. It is what it is, if you'll excuse the clichė.
