Studies with poor design and methods are published everyday. You don't hear about them being REMOVED from The Library of Congress.

Rind et al is unpopular because people don't want to hear what it has to say. The studies results go so far against the status quo that it has been treated like a sex-offender itself. That is why it has been attacked and discredited at every possible step.
