2) The reason many people do not want solutions to certain problems--e.g., the lack of knowledge children tend of have of sexual matters--is because they do not want children to have that knowledge, just as they want children to be dependent on adults for as long as possible, and just as they do not want children to have civil rights for as long as possible.
