I have no prob with watching a big capitalist venture like The Avengers alongside you, since there is no way possible to produce a "socialist venture" in a capitalist economy. I like watching movies about heroes as much as you, and I admire capitalists with a conscience like Tony Stark, and champions who represent the intangible ideals of this country, like Steve Rogers. And I also like a spy with a conscience, like Nick Fury (yup, Sam Jackson is indeed the man, man!). Boo-yahh, I say.
As for the Wall Streeters, your assessment is correct. The strategy of peaceful protest is always a first step towards (hopefully) something bigger. Everything has to start somewhere, and it started reasonably big enough, and getting attention is an important component of the first step.
