I'll not get into a political debate since I don't have a strong interest, never had, apart from being left-leaning all my life but if the USA pushed their wealth (it is the wealthiest nation in the world and has been for a long time) then it should top the list of those areas cited in the graph - but it doesn't. So, is your system at fault or is the rest of the world in some cloud-cuckoo land? This is one reason I do not see the USA has any right to appear as 'leader of the free world'. I put most of your problems down to insecurity - as a relatively 'new' nation and even as individuals, secure people do not need guns as accompaniments to their iphones or indulge in the flag-waving so prevalent in the US - UK exceptions, Olympics and Last Night of The Proms, lol!
