A 'vast majority of Governments'

You never tire of the stale notion that if an idea is common it must have merit.

Guess what. A vast majority of cultures find eating insects repellant; except of course those which have made them a foodstuff.

We'd like our laws to be more than just a numbers game or a transmitted cultural notion. However the frequent quashing of reason and appeal to disgust regarding CP seems to indicate that they are arguing for the normalcy of a gustatory bug ban, rather than for laws regarding actual free speech or concerning assault.

Though I think that the best variation on majoritarian Govt stances is the notion that the "vast majority of Governments" have criminalized Government. Almost all of them take the stance that no Government shall set itself up within their own Government. I guess that tells you what they think of the notion of "Governments."
