Not so. Every illegal market behaved the other way upon legalization or criminalization. Not just alcohol or drugs. Not just adult or gay porn. Also guns (where applicable). Also exotic animals or their products (elephants, tigers, rhinos, crocodiles, sea turtles). You ask us to dismiss the whole science of economics over your hunch.

I like that philosophy; let's extend it to other harmful things. Let's see, according to all important sources, the number one killer of kids is cars. Ergo, we should stop letting children ride in cars. The risk is just too high. The number two killer of kids is standing water. Well, strictly showers for the kiddies from now on, and no more swimming at all, no sirree. And those are things that just cause death!

No, we don't need to extend it anywhere, especially with such fallacious logic. There are reasons enough to ban the images and that is why they are banned.

So how is that not a position that sex is worse than death, when you're clearly willing to go much longer ways to prevent sex than to prevent death?
