Which implies that WE don't. What an ironic crock of shit. In fact, it is we who see children as individuals with a mind, heart, body and yes, a sexuality, and it is we who suggest giving them the opportunities to demonstrate they deserve better than to be patronized and treated as one block group deserving legal and social disenfranchisement (excuse me, I mean "protection") at all costs. If you truly respected children in their totality, you would recognize their sexuality as well as everything else. But you don't. Like all antis, you are only interested in preserving the status quo in which children are universally treated as a class of pampered slaves, teaching them from their earliest years to be subservient to authority and frightened of everything. And people wonder why our governments continue to run roughshod over our rights and push us all further into the nice little nonthreatening box that the wealthy elites and their governmental puppets want us to be in. We're raising a generation of kids frightened by their own shadows, afraid to play outside because of fear of the child rapists who apparently lurk around every corner.
rather than imposing any sexual attraction on them which is not the case for most of you
I have never in my life imposed my sexuality on any child . . . ever. So you can shove that insinuation right up your ass, where it belongs. I have simply observed that most children are curious and many have an interest in either the social aspect of relationships or in sexual exploration, or both. I have never indulged in any form of sexual contact with a child, although I came very close with a girl who was quite persistent over the weeks I babysat her. I finally had to leave the job--and town for a couple months, to get my head straight. When I got back to town, within two days she was calling me. I don't know how she discovered I was back, but she did. I had to gently dissuade her from continuing to contact me because I was afraid of where it could lead. It was heartbreaking. I saw her again here and there over the years, and she always gave me her winning smile. The last time I saw her she asked me for a hug and I asked her for a picture, as I had my camera on me at the time. Now she has disappeared into the mists and I've been unable to locate her, as her family moved out of town long ago. I would've married her when she turned 18, even though I am not attracted to adults by and large. I loved her that much, and I still miss her to this day.
