Clingy is hard to judge. Is she just affectionate? I saw her again just now and she sat in my lap and hugged me with her hands are my neck and her face next to mine for like a full minute with mom there.

I do often refer to her as "friend". I hope to make this girl a part of my life and me a part of hers. I've always thought it would be great to havea trusted adult friend through the trying times of puberty.
