It explains well that this is all based on the work of a college freshman who hasn't even completed a single journalism course yet due to the fact that she is only 18 and in her first semester of college. The Christian Right is running with it because it fits into their preconceived prejudices. But it is not based on solid scientific research at all. And no, metro-sexual is not a sexual orientation, it's just a buzzword.
