Update and GM

Long time without a post. My marriage is rocky right now and not going well. Perhaps a longer post for another time. The LGs in my life on the other hand are wonderful joys.

Just thought I'd share one. I befriended a young girl last spring who started to visit me at work on a regular basis. At least once our twice a week. So often in fact she's referred to as "Gannon's little girlfriend" R is 10, 11 in a few months. 4th grade and a budding little cutie. Still quite short, thin and only a hint of impending womanhood.

Recently I hadn't seen her for a few weeks and was wondering if everything was ok. Then her brother shows up one day to tell me I have a visitor coming over. Within a minute I hear "Gannon!!!" and she come running over took me. She jumped right into my armso hard a bumped heads and rattled my teeth. She wraps her tiny legs around my chest and tucks her head into my shoulder. "I missed you, Gannon!". "I missed you too sweetheart." There a few times in my recent life as amazing as that. Ido think I'm in love... Or a crush, or who knows?

This time she'd brought a friend, affable little redhead with freckles. Maybe we'll save M for another GM.
