A pedophile, like an audiophile, loves the focus of his interest. A pedophile cannot rape a child. A child rapist cannot be a pedophile. They are mutually exclusive.

Would an audiophile hook a 500 watt stereo to a 10 watt set of speakers and turn the volume up all the way? No. He would respect the 10 watt speakers and play at a level they can handle.

Now, would a true pedophile hurt a child? No. He would respect the 10 (watt speakers) and play at a level they can handle.

A famous rock star smashing his guitar into the speakers on the stage at the end of his performance is like a rapist.
