You probably won't know that I was (am!) a parent and raised three daughters. I was never attracted to any of them, but I definitely felt attraction to some of their friends. That's something you want to be prepared for.

I'll chime in long enough to say that I have no problems or worries about your parenting based on what you've said.

Conversations about sex tend not to come up just once. There is more to absorb at different ages, so I'd still try to be prepared. A second big step beyond how babies are made is, "wait, you mean people LIKE to do that even when they're not trying to make babies?"
