This comes across to me as only looking for the worst in people. You seem to always assume that the pro-contact attitude is only self-serving. You really don't see how this could benefit children and society in general for everyone to have more choices in the matter of their own sexuality? It is their sexuality, not yours.
I see a very few people like you and Dante who have a passionate commitment to youth rights generally.
The youth rights 'bible' to me is still Birthrights, the 1974 childrens bill of rights book by Richard Farson. I support 99% of what is said in that book. My wife (a non) read it and agrees with 80%. Anyone agreeing with over 50% I would consider to have a "passionate commitment".
Have you done some kind of poll on GC to make these statements?
working for any social change with the label of "pedophile" hung around your neck is a good way to make it less likely
Can't argue much with that. So that makes your activist statements pretty hollow and powerless too, doesn't it?
I don't take that limitation on the minor's sexual expression as a very serious infringement. The people who may feel it as a serious infringement are pedophiles, not girls.
I think your assertion to know anything about what girls want to be at least as questionable as ours. And there you are again with the self-serving indictment.
Even if they are comparatively rare, these serious negative outcomes are enough to make the idea of men starting sexual relationships with young girls always wrong.
Same thing with young girls starting sexual relationships with men, I suppose, cause girls can't think for themselves and might regret it down the road? Please. Why not let people live?
