How to Treat Kids Like Human Beings

I'd start it with my number one pet peeve: people who treat children like toys, or pets.
You do not hug or pinch or squeeze them whenever you want. Ask first.

(Actually, the idea of asking for a hug, or a kiss for auntie, feels a bit wrong to me...
Hugs and cuddles freely given are the best of all, aren't they?)
