Summer activities for kids are soooo nice. I just met 2 adorable 'swim club girls' (7ish) in their cute suits. Also met 'Columbia girl' (9ish) (also 2 boys but that's for another board). Columbia girl leaned on me for most of an hour. One of the swim club girls (the less pretty but entirely captivating one) kept staring at me, offering me food, asking me questions. When she couldn't get her drink open, she came to me for help. She asked me how old I am. I told her. She said it was really old but the other kids told her it was rude to say that. She almost cried till I told her getting old is what we all do. It's not rude, and not so bad. She said I don't LOOK that old. I could have kissed her. So sweet.

I am so stoked (not a misspelling - it's not ALL about sex you perverts) at meeting and interacting with these kids. I'm hoping for a whole week of this.

As I left that scene (god I did not want to leave) I couldn't believe my eyes. One of the young stud male camp staff is applying sunscreen lotion to a couple of the girls. Shit dude, what I wouldn't do for your job!!!
