True, although not following the links to find out what is being talked about may leave you less informed. ( Although possibly safer in some cases. )

Either way the flag is up to the poster, who already knows whether their post is about adult BMX racers or little girls on tricycles.

Further, the use of "OT" isn't a requirement. Just a show of mercy towards those who don't have the time to read everything on GC and would prefer to concentrate on posts about girls, girllove or girllovers.

As someone who likes AGs and adults I'm especially sensitive to the possibility my posts will sometimes run into the OT. So I tend towards the side of caution and treat as OT adult actresses who are playing teens in films, and former child starlets all growed up.

After all, that tends to be society's message anyway. "She was so cute but asexual until she turned 18. And then we suddenly noticed that she was sexy." Feh.
