On a related note, there's a recent racket for psychiatrists where they get paid tons of money by both the prosecution and the defense to testify for either side. They basically go to the highest bidder and parrot whatever the paying side wants them to say. Some tend to testify more for the defense, some more for the prosecutors, but a lot play both sides. So yeah, maybe this guy wants to get in on the racket himself. ;)
