My main peeve is the pretention that Objectivism is, well, that: objective.

At its core there are value judgments as in any political or social ideology; with the same status as ultimately impossible to arrive at empirically. Objectivists may not notice it because they are predominant values of the Enlightenment West. But they are value judgments too. And in the way they are formulated, they are a form of scientism and their use of language betrays this scientism.

Of course some people of all ideologies believe their own one to be objective, by contrast to all others. But none makes of this claim something so central to their own.
