Agreed. Though I don't feel that the option was coerced insofar as I have a genuine Teleio orientation on top of my Pedo one. But it arrived at the same time, and feels no different from within.

That's why I have little room for Pedo exceptionalism from either the "Heteros have no consent problems" camp or the "Pedo desires place them at risk to rape" camp.

From inside the qualitative difference would be what to do with "success," not how to handle the inevitable unrequited ( or unrequitable ) love. I can't say as though either orientation has forced me to confront gals of any age cueing up to fling themselves at me.

There are all manner of political repercussions pressuring experts who know better to back off the claim that its an orientation. But as with Homosexuality, they will probably eventually tire of all the denying the waddling, quacking, web-footed avian evidence.
