I can't find much to disagree with you here. I think your intuition on the case of the girl whose uncle put her photos on the net serves you well. I have no idea how the official response was so tone deaf and brain dead - I would think that anyone who had the least bit of intelligence and the slightest interest in the well-being of children would handle such cases far differently. The fact that they don't handle such cases better is part of what tells me that the crusaders against child sexuality are primarily concerned with their own self-righteousness and don't give a damn about the well-being of children - the alternative being that they are too damned stupid to breathe.
