That's another good point. People can often get uncomfortable when a male expresses too much interest in being with kids or has too much fun with them. Especially with man/girl situations. It's really bad in the UK from what I can tell. Here in the US it's bad but no too bad. I prefer the Balkans where it is almost non-existent. Everyone is more relaxed in all ways (in the safe areas). You feel more at ease. Of course there are other issues that plague the area. Sorry, that was a bit of a tangeant.

About thirty years or so I predict a sizable shift. For better or worse I cannot say. I will most likely be alive and who knows maybe I will be part of it if it is a positive shift.

Yes, I intend on either having my kids stay at home, or if they have to or want to go to school they will likely go sudbury or montessori. Unless they particularly want to try another type of school. Though frankly I think they will want to leave after a semester or two. Age segregation is one of the biggest problems with modern schools. Aside from the whole pro-authority anti freedom slant they mainly take.
