I don't know why you feel a need to deny the position you publicly made. Or to even do a 180 degree reversal in this post. Except that when you get upset you start to flip-flop irrationally and argue for the very things in others that you support when coming from yourself.

You and Ethan are the only one's arguing that there is some personality cult. Everyone else here knows darned well just where and how their views differ from mine. But in this post you have to promote the cult you've invented by claiming that a post and standard addressed to "everyone" was actually a response to me alone. In fabricating this "personality cult" out of whole cloth in order to rebuke it you risk coming off as the flaming hypocrite.

Meanwhile I remain convinced that most of the "uncompromising" positions you object to in me are not held by the majority of GC posters. And that there is actually a lot more common ground than you might think. Those holding that common ground can do a lot of useful things by exploring it.

Similarly those holding radical positions have every right to do so as well. Expecting "everyone at GC" to hold one stance is futile. And presuming that because you have some beef with me, that they are my lackeys, or that I am their mouthpiece is just plain silly.

You and Ethan seem to have some irrational strategy that JD420 has already seen through, to magnify me into some mighty Ghod of GC in order to take all of GC down. In doing so you have to pretend that my uncommon views are the dominant ones, and that they're held even by those who would rather remain silent.

Sorry to disappoint, but I am neither a narcissist nor solipsist. And I don't pretend to speak for those who have either said nothing or can speak for themselves. I'll leave that for Ethan, since he loves to tell us what girls secretly prefer, what Deaf folks secretly believe, what........... well you can see the pattern.
