We don't see large numbers of empowered kids posting utoob vids about their sexual oppression and demanding liberation. There are some who are indeed doing this, as well as many on socnet forums like Facebook, when it comes to supporting and arguing for youth lib in general. More youths are becoming aware of themselves as a minority group, and this despite the failure of certain youth lib orgs ostensibly because they had bad leadership. However, a large number of kids arguing specifically against their sexual oppression and demanding sexual rights on YouTube or Facebook would quickly find their accounts taken down, and likely even have their parents located and contacted. They are not in a political position to do this in large numbers right now, and anyone who says, "If they really wanted that freedom, we would see heaps of them demanding it on all sorts of fora" are completely overlooking the political and legal situation that children and young adolescents currently find themselves in. Old-timers on this board like yours truly may remember the very heavy price paid by a teen gerontophile poster on this very board who used the nick Fayla for specifically arguing for her sexual freedom to date adult men via YouTube videos (which were audio only). She quickly got tracked down by vigilante orgs who notified her parents, her school, and the local police in her home city. She ended up in forced "therapy" as a result. We can argue these studies till we're blue but they don't seem to be winning us any new friends. None who are opening their mouths about it right now. JackSummer is an example that the silence is gradually breaking. Let's give it some time, my friend. Progress typically occurs in steps, and almost never in leaps and bounds. I think loving pedo's might be designing the Target Christmas commercials and I do appreciate that. haha. MAP influences are in more places than people may think! (Btw, I'm surprised you used "haha" for a laugh phonetic, instead of "hohoho," which would have been more Christmas-appropriate.) |
