PS . In 1984 the main villan said to the hero that hierarchies require hatred and war to maintain their strength because people need to follow them to "survive" ,and without hate and war , the people would have all the food they needed and there would be little reason for animosity .
They explained that all the wars existed only to destroy more resources , the murder was to wipe out populations , and they built things to 1 . destroy more things , and 2. to concentrate labor into to keep people buisy .
This is happening in the west atleast ,with the war on drugs , one of the points of huge law enforcement campaigns is merely to produce more work and money , throw more people in prison and employ people in the construction of prisons .
