"The reason most people here don't break the law is because they don't want to go to prison. If there was a high likelihood they wouldn't get caught, I'd wager most everyone here would have sex with kids given half a chance to do so. "

Once upon a time you had enough brains to call Ethan on his "douchebaggery" for making this accusation of you. That you don't today is entirely political and you know it even if you won't admit it.

( Hey, the naive realism is a nice tool, even if facetious. I may have to keep using it against the naive realist. )

"If the pro-contacters truly cared about standing on their principles, they wouldn't hide their identities. But we've been over all of that before."

Yes we have. And you know full well that history doesn't side well with your demand that the Partisans turn over their RL names and addresses to the Nazis.

Tell me which pro-choice principle it is that is being violated here?

"the VirPeds are different--their moral positions are not in stark contrast to society's with respect to the single most important moral issue pertaining to pedophiles and society, so their anonymity is mostly irrelevant in a way that the pro-contacters' is not"

Don't be ridiculous. That might be true for those folks already hiding behind the black box. But since VirPeds are saying that they ARE Virtuous, have nothing to hide, AND aren't offending sensibilities, then there is NO reason whatsoever for the founding VirPs to have maintained their anonymity when they broke with B4UACT.

But again, you know I'm right.

Ethan says time and again that he really DOES disagree with the status quo, even if he never seems to do this in any of his press clippings. I'm pretty sure he knows what would happen if he outed himself.

And if a guy who supports the status quo in most regards cannot bring himself out in the open for fear of retaliation on proposals to tweak the AoC by a few years and to legalize virtual KP, then imagine what folks who believe in human rights for others, not just for themselves must think.
