Many on the right, especially outside America where the word is used a lot more, tend to regard "neoliberal" as a leftist buzzword, meaningless except to point to enemies in people or policies.

The truth is it does have meaning. Maybe it is overused, but there is some meaningful set of conditions in it which can be met or not met.

Yes, trade blocs and treaties are a quintessential example of neoliberalism in policy.

War... yes, the right can use it to limit civil rights and to relegate class issues to the back burner, both of which are part of its attractive to fascists. But leftists can use it to argue that the party being made war against would be better off if conquered by us (a serious argument used to justify, in modern times, US and Israeli intervention in the Middle East) and is typically used also to bring industrial production under direct state command, which can later on be kept under peacetime. (Say... France) And if nationalism is in theory right wing, it is often used in politically successful ways by the left, both by portraying foreigners as class enemies (Athens vs Sparta) and by the identification of a nation with its parochial character best kept alive by the simple people (elites are always more cosmopolitan. See: Balkan nations vs Vienna and Istanbul). So...

And... yes. I mentioned anarcho-capitalists, but I should have mentioned "traditional" anarchists too, with their left wing heritage. Both are significant contingents of the Peaceful Parenting crowd.

Funny that today I had an awesome time with Anarchoboy.

And yes, he is impressive. His very instincts are anarchist. It could still go right wing to An-Cap, but so far he is closer to An-Com. He is more orthodoxly anarchist than most sources, An-Cap or An-Com, that are in the current discussions. And while he isn't yet writing down theoretical treatises he has a very advanced perception of the underlying workings of societies.

He is a natural. I wasn't looking for anything other than a boy with pretty eyes. And I found the next Hakim Bey.

I'd probably be jealous, but if he bred with Rroma girl, their issue would be the greatest advancement for humankind in a few thousands of years. Seriously.
