And how can an instrumental remind you of someone?

Very easily! Instrumentals evoke certain moods, thoughts, and feelings. Your mind wanders a lot in many directions when you listen to them. Some of them remind me of certain times of my life; others, of places I have gone to; and others make me think of certain people. Because your mood is affected on an emotional level by such mood-influencing music, it doesn't have to make logical sense as to why you think of a certain person, time, place, or thing when you hear certain instrumentals. Only your subconscious mind knows, and it communicates with you symbolically, not in perfectly discernible logic. I'm sure I will come across an instrumental that will make me think of YOU eventually also :-)
