Currently, rape laws and parental/social/community oversight. In future, who knows, but why assume there are none in a pro-choice environment?
I would oppose it until convinced the girl really wanted it and was in a developmental position for it to make sense for her.
me too. I don't find that to be in conflict with a pro-choice position.
re: your blog post: all conjecture over a situation that is not yet presented. It might be more simple in some cases and clear. Others would be even more difficult to imagine. I still think you are stuck in a conservative anxiety over a problem that does not exist. Myself, I imagine that most 'cases' that would involve all those psychologists and the judge will be 'after the fact' of discovery, either by an outsider or maybe by claims of the girl (I didn't like it scenario). Many more will be benign situations that are none of our business - these are the ones that do not deserve punishment - that pro-choice legality would allow without jailtime or therapy.
