It might be a weasel word to you, but it is not one which is recognised in the medical literature or widely in society and media. It is becoming apparent that there is a difference between what you understand by girllove and what girllove means to me.



There is little meaningful disagreement in society, medicine, the courts, about what a paedophile is however.



But there is definitely a need for revision or expansion of terms. And variously I used, queer or girllove. Which to me denotes more a state of being than an activity.





Bashing on those who feel the same as you only sews confusion and spits upon their efforts.

If you must cede "Pedophile" to the Antis, just be aware that they are on to your substitute word "GirlLover."



Like I say, the language is unresolved. The machinery does like labels.



It isn't a substitutionary word to me, but a totally different word, characteristically different from what society accepts as paedophilia for example.



And every time you equate Pedophilia to abuse, they know that you are admitting that this is what you are; an abuser.



I don't know how arrive at that conclusion, but it is wrong.



I am not an abuser, and I have never commited any offence, sexual or otherwise, against anyone, and never will. Nor has anyone ever made any accusation against me.



Neither have I accused anyone at GC or VP of being an abuser.



Your only hope is to either come up with a neologism so new that nobody but you has a clue what you mean, or to stand and fight rather than let your haters determine your vocabulary.



I don't need to hide behind language because I am very open about what girllove means to me and what I feel. Also, I have never intentionally used the word 'girllover'. As that somewhat connotes activity rather a state of being. It appears in one post, possibly a typo.....



But you are deluded if you think that GLer isn't a "compromised" term which is recognized as synonymous with "Pedophile."



Being unaware, is not the same as a delusion. Obviously you have more awareness as you are active in these communities. It's 10 years since I visited GC remember.

Maybe you might pause to think before tossing around the TOXIC gangrenous hatred and accusing your fellow GLers of supporting abuse when they just choose to use a term with a better pedigree and more supporting Nons, scholars and experts.



It is not hatred, it is reality. You twist what I said. To you, girllove and paedophilia are synonymous. To society, paedophilia generally means criminal behaviour.



To medicine, paedophilia has been defined as having persistent sexual fantasies involving children, over a 6 month period or more, including masturbation.



This does not apply to me. Whilst my memory is not infinite, in the past 6 months I have had no sexual fantasies about children.. in fact, this is probably more than I should disclose, in the past 6 months, I have masturbated 8 times or less, and only twice in the past three months



So what am I then?



I am happy with what I am, and what I feel. As shared with Dissident, my girllove ties into a wider cultural identification, girly things and music, and attraction is clearly a much more broad and diffuse word to me, than the phallocentric certainty to which you apply.
