And one line of attack he used in the debate last night was repeating a tidbit from her background as a lawyer that's commonly cited in online right-wing circles, over her legal defense of a pedophile in the '80s. Because we all know we don't deserve legal representation, amirite?

1. It's pretty clear that was rape, not a consensual encounter unfortunately caught in the legal dragnet.

2. She could defend it as exactly that: due process, innocent until proven guilty, fair trial, everyone deserves representation. (I'd actually quite respect that). Instead she plays dumb and ignores.

3. It's not just that she defended a rapist. It's that she's laughed about it like it's fun.

4. It's not just that she defended a rapist and now laughs about it. It's that she attacks her main rival as justifying or minimizing (or committing) sexual abuse. It's a case where if she points her finger, three point back at her.
