For some people, a desire to rape really is "who they are" and is born (or indistinguishable from born in that it is very early and for all purposes fixed). It is a sexual orientation. This doesn't mean that other people without a rape orientation cannot ever rape, or do not ever rape, or that they can't have other, not directly sexual, reasons to rape when they do. Same as people who are not pedophilic in orientation can molest, do molest, and may have other, not sexual, reasons to molest. In the realm of scientific inquiry, it probably matters to tell them apart, same as it matters to tell pedophiles from situational molesters apart. For the victims, though, it probably matters little or nothing. ![]() Cuteness is to die for Cuteness cannot fail Cuteness knows no limit Cuteness will prevail |
