It's not an insult but an intervention. Qtns and I can see that Dissident has got caught up in self-contradictory thinking. It is a pretty common thing, often localized to one area of beliefs, and has no bearing on other beliefs held by the same person; but to those outside the belief system it is clear as day - while those trapped inside the belief system cannot see their way out. It is the same dynamic that makes it so dificult for someone within a religious community to see the religion as outsiders see it.
As for economics issues, the beliefs that Dissident is expressing appear to outsiders like something that might be said while taking reality-distorting substances. They are not merely wrong - they are bizarre and self-contradictory - and qtns and I would be doing a disservice to pretend that they are anything else. Dissident can take our advice or leave it, but he should at least know what it looks like from the outside. Baldur ![]() |
