Swimmimng is a very good parallel

and it illustrates that "informed consent " is a useless notion, whether applied to swimming or sexual experience.
I have seen footage of babies swimming underwater with their eyes open- and they do not somehow feel the need to hold their noses. Holding one's nose is a learned reflex, and it is a parallel to kids behaving as if sexuiality is bad or that they should avoid it at all costs.
