If it's due to the nature of girls, the reactions you speak of would be well-documented in virtually all societies for all time. I could speculate on one aspect of black rights that's somewhat comparable -- the rights of black men to marry white women. For a better comparison, why not mention the rights of black chattel slaves? By your standard, only such people would be able to demand rights. No one else, black or white, man, woman or child, should argue on their behalf and we should have complete faith in the goodness of slave-owners. |
