I believe that certain parties wanted to keep GirlChat quiet for a while. I am not sure whether those parties were friendly or unfriendly, as both possibilities could fit alternative explanations.

Beyond that I shouldn't say much for security reasons. Let's just say that GirlChat is and has been far more influential that most people could guess, and not just in relation to questions of loving children.
