"Easy for someone who fits and therefore supports most of those norms to say" Oh, I noticed, which is why I pointed out that you seem to do well in our norms in every way except that one thing; it may be a huge thing, no doubt, but you seem to be willing to live with it. Or, at the very least, you nevertheless accept MOST of the norms that hold us and the youths we love to the present status quo as inviolable. And pedophiles are pretty much the only class that is virtually universally discriminated against in the United States today. Many groups are unpopular in some areas, but they also have places where they are the majority and in power. Only because you have yet to get us that Antarctic society we have discussed here before. Have you made any progress on that? Have you asked Qtns for advice on that? "3. Clarification of the matter for the many who are ignorant should not have been considered unimportant." Unlike the capitalism vs. socialism thing which you oh-so-wisely broached in your Part 4 of Part 2 of this discussion, despite the incredible amount of progress we've both had in convincing each other to to adopt the other's view, so that I'm now a devout supporter of laissez-faire capitalism and you're now a dedicated follower of Marx, right? Sorry, but considering the gripe you made up above, I just had to go there. not a - and as qtns has pointed out, let the Antis be the ones who are constantly thinking about rape, not us. But we do have to bear in mind that some of our readers are not familiar with things that to us are commonplace. If this means you agree with Qtns on this latest insane bandwagon he's following, I must say I'm not surprised. So, you will be one of the ones I have no choice but to knock heads with about this. I apologize in advance for the future battles, but it needs to be done. As for our readers not being as familiar with things that to us are commonplace: You can rest assured they are familiar with the concepts of rape and sexual abuse, and that these things are constantly being attributed to us by a group of people who have far more cred in society than we do despite what liars they are. Using words like "rape" and "sexual abuse" with no sign of irony the way the antis attribute it to us will only make those readers believe the antis were right all along, because they are not nearly as familiar with our side of things as they are with the narrative promulgated throughout society by the antis, and met by the fence-sitters with mostly silence. |
