I like this show. Dakota Fanning is brilliant in it. I like how they note, in the language of the era, that being homosexual and being transgender are two entirely different things, and how the parents of that one child were encouraged to accept and love their child as s/he is.

I could do without them constantly misgendering the little trans girls, and I hate it that trans children are being murdered in this series, but at least they haven't been crass and shown gory and disrespectful views of the bodies, nor showed scenes of torture or murder so far as I've noticed.
