They simply don't have the balls to speak the truth, because then they'd have to own it and if they really owned it they'd want to die.

And we'd probably be the ones to pull the triggers.

It's too big a can of worms to open up because from their broken point of view, justice is equivalent destruction.

There's also the fact that the sociopaths with enough wealth power to directly change the outcome are not the ones concerned with morality.

It's always a revolution. It doesn't necessarily have to be a violent one, but if they push the issue enough there is no amount of doubt in my mind that we are going fighting for the children to save the world from destruction.
