I have recently discovered that RG is being allowed more responsibility and given more roles to perform at her family's place of work. It's awesome to see her doing so much. I just hope she's getting paid for her work now.

I'm trying to be more positive when I visit. I've become aware that I tend to be too down when I'm around her. It's hard to be smiling and happy when she's been cold to me, but perhaps showing a little warmth and joy around her will be good for her as well.

Speaking of RG being cold, I now have a new theory on the why. She lives a life where she doesn't get to express her frustrations much. If she lets it out on a family member, she'll be in trouble, and if she lets it out on an average customer, she'll also be in trouble. But me? I won't be upset with her if she doesn't act polite. I won't complain to her mother that she didn't respond when I thanked her. She can express her negative emotions around me without trouble, and I think that's why she's been acting so cold lately. She might not even realize what she's doing.
