yes, those messages are everywhere. I think OP was talking about God telling one person one thing and another something different, therefore invalid conflict. I'm suggesting the messages are deeply personal and probably don't apply to anyone else. Titled 'ethnocentric', I took it to mean the 'my way or the highway' type of behavior some fundamentalists take.
